Lecturer
I am a faculty member in the CalTeach Department with a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Mizzou. I started my career as a teacher in India and also served as postdoctoral scholar at the University of Maine before joining UC. My research interests include leadership, identity development, online instructional practices, AI integration, and effective learning techniques. I am also open to exploring research areas across various other disciplines. I have designed and teach an educational research course where students from diverse discipline, including STEM and Social Sciences, work on customizable capstone projects such as posters, presentations, or manuscripts, which they can include on their CVs. I aim to support students' growth and encourage all students, regardless of their major, to engage in research and achieve their learning goals.
