University Honors Program Requirements
In order to remain eligible for the University Honors Program, students must:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative UC GPA of 3.10.
- Complete Honors Curricular Requirements, which may vary based on the point at which the student enters the program.
- Attend and successfully pass Honors Seminars, which are offered once per year. These include the following, in order (these may vary based on the point at which the student enters the program):
- HON 001H
- HON 002H
- HON 003H
- HON 004H
- Fulfill Honors Co-Curricular Requirements, which include the following:
- Experiential Learning Experience
- Community, Mentorship, and Leadership Experience
- Met with the Honors Program Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
- Adhere to the UC Merced Principles of Community.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the student's administrative removal from the University Honors Program.
