Experiential Learning and Community, Mentorship, and Leadership Supplemental Funding
The University Honors Program is excited to provided supplemental funding to support students participating in the UC Merced University Honors Program [UCM UHP].
This support is intended for UHP students who are pursuing research, creative scholarship, community engagement, leadership, and career development opportunities. This funding is offered to help offset costs associated with high-impact educational experiences that enhance learning, professional development, and career exploration.
Experiences that may qualify for Supplemental Funding include [but are not limited to]:
- Faculty-Mentored Research, Professional Meetings and/or Service Projects
- Conference Presentations
- Study Abroad
- Internships
- Experiential Learning Opportunities [such as UCDC, UCCS]
- and more!
Funding may be used to support expenses such as travel, lodging, registration fees, materials, supplies, or other project-related costs. Requests for $100 - $1,000 can be submitted using the form linked here: University Honors Program - Call for Supplemental Funding.
All requests will be reviewed and considered by the University Honors Program subcommittee and team.
Once reviewed, supplemental funding amount and details will be followed up by the University Honors Program team via email [honors@ucmerced.edu].
