Honors Program Coordinator
Sunni Nelson (she, her, hers) was born in Merced and has enjoyed watching the UC grow within the local community. Sunni graduated from UC Berkeley in 2016, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology. Sunni was interested in the field of Optometry, but became passionate in Higher Education while at UC Berkeley. Sunni started working at UC Merced in 2018 within the Library and loved collaborating with the campus community. In her new role, Sunni looks forward to new job responsibilities and expanding her skillset. Sunni enjoys cooking new recipes, attending cardio kickboxing classes, and traveling.
