Aspiring Scholars Career Specialist
Dr. Maria Ramirez Loyola completed her B.A. in psychology at UC Riverside and her Ph.D. in health psychology at UC Merced. As the Aspiring Scholars Career Specialist in the Student Career Center, she develops and implements high impact programming that advances the career preparation of UC Merced scholars from diverse populations (e.g., experiential learning opportunities). Dr. Ramirez Loyola is very passionate about helping to create more inclusive and welcoming environments for all and looks forward to leveraging her diverse lived experiences, training, and skills to help facilitate the success of UC Merced scholars.
