Senate Faculty members, continuing lecturers, and Unit 18 lecturers are invited to apply as Honors Faculty. You do NOT have to offer an Honors course to be part of our Honors faculty, but you are encouraged to offer Honors Contracts in one or more of your upper division course offerings. Honors Faculty may apply for supplemental funding to develop Honors courses. For more information, contact honors@ucmerced.edu.
If you do not hold a faculty position, we welcome you to become an Honors Affiliate to show your support and participate in the program.
Honor Faculty and Affiliates will be invited to participate in special Honors events such as the annual Spring Honors Showcase, the Honors graduation, and the yearly Honors luncheon and retreat. Your name and a short description of your role or research interests will be listed on our website. Students will be encouraged to reach out to you to get involved with your research or conduct internships in your unit.
