Interim Director, Medical Education
I am a Family Physician. For over 20 years, I have cared for patients in the Refugee Health Center and worked in the UCSF School of Medicine. At UCM, I serve as Director of Medical Education where I work with BS/MD students, Health Scholars, and pre-health students to help promote trajectories into health careers. I seek to educate skillful, humane health professionals to care for diverse patients and communities. I am passionate about training future physicians to provide compassionate, humanistic care; promote health and wellness; and advocate for the needs of medically underserved communities, including the San Joaquin Valley.
